Watched this Christmas 2010 ! Did not know what to expect as I had not seen this ensemble act together before and was unsure about Chris Brown as I know him for his vocal skills – What a revelation this film is! It is just the sort of movie to watch at Christmas as its heartwarming, redemptive,home truths are confronted and dealt with in a positive fashion…. the brilliant actors and storyline draw you in and make you really care about the characters.

and that Chris brown sings like no other in this movie, so pitch perfect i’m going to purchase the soundtrack.

I was left with a lovely feeling after watching with this with my sons.

This seems to be the Sesame Street adoption of “Labyrinth” (1986, Jim Henson). Yet, I love Labyrinth. TAOEIG is less dark than the original, and generally more funny. Perfect family entertainment (not only for the children) with lots of nice music, jokes and warmth. 10 out of 10.

Michael Brody and Sean Brody, the sons of former Amity police chief Martin Brody, work at Florida’s Sea World, a seaside park run by Calvin Bouchard. Sean befriends Kelly Ann Bukowski, and Michael’s girlfriend Kathryn Morgan is Sea World’s head scientist who always works with Sea World’s dolphins Cindy and Sandy. In its man-made lagoon, about 40 feet under the water, Sea World opens the Undersea Kingdom, a new set of underwater glass tunnels that have their own control room, and Calvin’s friend Philip FitzRoyce is there to do some filming. When Sea World diver Shelby Overman vanishes, everyone is worried. Michael and Kathryn head into the water, where they find a baby great white shark and decide to bring it to Sea World to put it on display, but at Sea World, the baby shark dies. When Overman’s body is found, Michael vomits when he sees it. Kathryn looks at the body and knows that the baby shark could not have been the shark that killed Overman, because the baby shark’s bite radius is too small its 35-foot-long mother killed Overman. When Kathryn and Michael tell Calvin and Philip about the shark, they all try to evacuate the park, including the park’s beach, as they try their best to protect Sea World’s visitors from the shark.

A baby shark is captured and taken to Seaworld, an underwater theme park run by one of the Brodie boys (now grown-up) from the first two films of this series. It isn’t long before its much larger parent arrives on the scene looking for its offspring.

This film isn’t as bad as its reputation. The idea of the underwater theme park is interesting and makes for some tense scenes, like the one involving the people trapped in a corridor waist-deep in water. There are some likable characters.

But the majority of the characters are irritating. The 3-D thing is just a pointless gimmick, and some of the special effects are terrible. The teeth flying towards the screen at the end of the film would be more at home in a cartoon. That said, this is still mostly entertaining.

Yes ,this movie has plenty of raw scenes, and not for everyone, but for others , you can see the powerful message through it! I consider the film very well directed and performed. Joining history into present problems is phenomenal. Actors and actresses performance is brilliant! This is the best dramas I have ever seen,keeping in mind that I’ve seen Schindler’s List. I will recommend this film to anybody , who is interested in great acting and untold history. It certainly made me realize, how fortunate and blessed I am. Bravo to the cooperation of countries so little like Finland and Estonia, making so great movie! Already waiting for the next movie!

What gives this movie the edge compared to the other two is the emotion. The story of the Phoenix was done extremely well, and I think thats what stole the show. There is a scene (won’t go to into it so I don’t spoil anything) where Jean and Xavier have somewhat of a showdown. It is a very powerful scene and I have to say its my favorite scene in all three of the X Men movies. This movie really got into the Wolverine/Jean storyline and thats what helped this movie become more dramatic than the first two. I got a little teary in a few spots of the film. The score really helps get into the story as well.

While this movie had some cheesy moments and lines, over all it was done very well and I think what made it so good was how emotionally powerful it was, especially for a comic book movie. I urge everyone to see it. You’d be surprised.

Nothing happens in this movie that you don’t see coming a mile

away. The Bond girl is as dumb as a post, and Sheriff Pepper, the

annoying Jar Jar Binks character from the previous movie, returns

worse than ever. It would be a pretty bad film if it wasn’t for three

things: 1. Christopher Lee, in his brilliant performance as the film’s title

character. Without him, the film would be nothing. But he is perfect.

2. Nick Nack, the evil French midget. Got to love this little guy.

3. The camp value. It can be darn funny at times. As such, it’s

worth a couple viewings. 7/10.

Isaac Keyet (ievolver)’s review is spot on, the cover doesn’t do this film justice.

This is NOT a film about some guy dating random people, it’s about a blind man trying to find love and cultural boundaries.

The acting is good and it’s definitely worth watching. Many people could learn a thing or two about judgmental opinions and preconceived notions.

10 Stars because of how underrated this film seems to be. Chris Pine did well, as did Eddie Kaye Thomas and the other cast.

Feel-good film with decent comedy and an interesting story.

Enjoy it for what it is and you’ll be satisfied.
